Our backyard faces into a wooded canyon, and there's a lot of nature to enjoy watching back there. We see coyotes, an occasional bobcat, some racoons, and lots of birds – especially hummingbirds.

A while back, when I was contemplating starting my financial wellness practice, we noticed a couple of hummingbirds spending a lot of time in our backyard, and then we happened upon a beautiful little nest in a leafy hedge. A few days later we noticed a couple more hummingbirds hanging around in the front of the house and then a nest appeared out there as well. I said to my husband, “This is so wonderful, we have four hummingbirds living with us!” My husband replied, “Well, there are actually five if we count you.”

And 5th Hummingbird was born.
